

Ishan Ayurvedic Medical College and Research Centre organised a Guest Speaker Session on 10 July 2026, providing students with an opportunity to interact with experienced professionals and gain a broader understanding of medicine and Ayurveda. The session brought together experts from different areas of healthcare, allowing students to learn from varied academic and professional perspectives.




The session featured Dr. Sonal Singh, Assistant Professor & Head, Department of Emergency Medicine, Government Institute of Medical Sciences, Greater Noida; Dr. Nimisha Mishra, Assistant Professor, Department of Rog Nidan evam Vikriti Vigyan, Ayurvedic and Unani Tibbiya College and Hospital, Government of NCT, New Delhi; and Dr. Shivani Ghildiyal, Associate Professor, Department of Dravyaguna Vigyan, All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), New Delhi.
With speakers representing emergency medicine and different specialised areas of Ayurveda, the session gave students an opportunity to understand the practical and academic aspects of healthcare from professionals working in reputed institutions. Their experiences and perspectives helped students relate their classroom learning to the realities of professional practice.
The interaction also encouraged students to look at their subjects from a wider perspective and understand the importance of knowledge, observation and professional responsibility in healthcare. Students had the opportunity to engage with the speakers, ask questions and learn from their experiences.
The session was a meaningful academic interaction that added to students’ learning and provided them with valuable exposure to different dimensions of medicine and Ayurveda.
